Miles E. Davies has mediated in excess of 500
cases in the areas of family law, employment law and civil litigation and has
accumulated in excess of 2000 hours of direct mediation experience and
training. As an attorney and mediator, Mr. Davies is
intimately familiar with current judicial backlogs and the need for utilization
of preventive as well as collaborative methods to help disputants reach
resolution to their conflicts quickly, effectively and economically. Mr. Davies is committed to advancing the use of ADR for the
benefit of individuals and institutions, both public and private, in hopes of
helping disputants resolve conflicts amicably. In addition to his position with DRP, Mr.
Davies continues to mediate with the Colorado State Judicial Department's Office
of Dispute Resolution and is currently serving his third year as the Chair of
the Denver Bar Associations Committee for Alternative Dispute Resolution. Miles
also teaches conflict resolution at the University of Denver and at the
University of Colorado at Denver and most recently, Mr. Davies spearheaded a
mediation training for forty-five lawyers and judges in conjunction with
Colorado Continuing Legal Education.
Mr. Davies is admitted to practice
in Colorado and the U.S. District Court District of Colorado.
He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver College of
Law.
